Start of a campaign. In the story the player is new to ULTRA so the campaign starts with their arrival at the ULTRA base. No-one will ever guess its inside the volcano will they?
The mission briefing. Argentina has launched an attack on Central America. The player is supposed to defend only. Messages appear in a box here during the game.
Northern Africa allies with Argentina and joins in the attack. Several nuclear weapons targeting their launch silo should stop that.
Battle underway. Argentina's missiles can be seen hitting their target at the top of the screen. Launching missiles is easy, just a mouse click, but stockpiles do run low.
The missile base has been selected from the tactical display and now shows on the main map so that attacks can be precisely targeted.
The nukes did their job well, North Africa withdraws. The Argentinian launch silos are now clearly targeted and inbound and outbound missiles can be seen.
Here instead of attacking the player is defending their territory while Argentina and the rest fight it out. Right clicking destroys any missile in the zone of influence.
After a couple of nukes on Argentina they too surrender, so this is a win and winning is good, right.
Mission 2 : Political unrest in India sees the entire fleet sail to Australia and demand asylum. This leads India to attack Australia. Ultra's job is to defend the fleet.
