While Glover won't blow you away, it is a very enjoyable puzzle game that combines solid gameplay mechanics and off-the-wall character design. It will take most players a while to get used to the controls, but once you finally learn how to move around, the game becomes a lot of fun.

Glover is one of those rare games that comes along and really surprises you. It's cute, it's non-violent, and it's actually fun. Unless you just can't stand games where you're not blowing the hell out of anything and everything that moves, you'll definitely enjoy Glover. I give this one two thumbs up.

Weit gefehlt:
Glovers komplexe Levels sind gespickt
mit knallharten Schikanen, aber auch
vollgestopft mit Überraschungen. Die
Steuerung des Ballakrobaten und der
Kameraführung wollen erst mühsam
erlernt werden; dann macht Ballspielen
aber mal wieder richtig Spaß.

This is a platform game of the much-copied-but-never-bettered Mario 64 variety. It's aimed at a younger audience, which means that you bounce your ball along to the occasional strains of a nursery rhyme or two and the action is rather pleasantly non-threatening. It's all good, clean, harmless fun in reasonably rendered 3D landscapes. One for the amusement of younger pre-pubescents. Hairier youths will be less impressed.

The game was fun and cute, but not groundbreaking. The arcade action was good and the graphics were very nice, but the sounds and control were not so nice. While not too much could be complained about with the sound, the control was a factor that truly degraded gameplay. Nevertheless, the game was interesting, and anyone looking for a cutesy arcade game will be sure to love Glover.

Glover, is an overall fun game (if you're 10), but ultimately a wee bit on the boring side. You're better off loading up Mario64 on your nintendo if you want to play a game of this type.

Sure, this is a 3D platform game with a funky concept, but the annoying controls and trite gameplay offer little to the PC market, which can't seem to get a good 3D platform game to save its life. If it's Mario 64-style action you crave, go buy a Nintendo 64, and let Glover sit on its hand.

There was absolutely nothing in this game that made me want to keep playing, recommend it to others, or be a glove. I first ran Glover knowing Hasbro was aiming for a younger group of players, but it is a 3D platformpuzzle game and any true 3D game has to be aimed for older, more experienced and knowledgeable gameplayers. Playing Glover is probably the worst gaming experience this reviewer has ever had. As far as recommending it goes, I would rather tell people to spend their time getting Wolfenstein working with their TNTs than encouraging them to get their hands on this title. The below standard graphics, low-quality sound, obvious lack of effort in producing it, strange control and gameplay as good as a one meg trident video card all combine into one of the worst games I have ever played.
