Description

In GM Hockey 2009, you do what you, the player, would be able to do as a General Manager of your favorite NHL team. Who wouldn't want to manage his favorite team and win the Stanley Cup?

Sometimes, events occur in the game. The players come to you and argue that they don't have enough ice time, or that they don't like the coach. These happen frequently in the NHL... and in the game. When that happens, you have a choice as a General Manager: do you trade your unhappy player, or fire your coach?

But, on the other end, events also happen to you, the General Manager. You may find yourself in a strip club, or kicking a dog for no apparent reason. These events will lower fans' or the President's faith towards you, and depending on the team, can force you to resign.

In this game, you make every possible action from the menus and with the mouse. You also have some hotkeys on the keyboard for the most used actions.

The game is played from a 2D perspective. No 3D involved, as everything is seen on the screen. Music is as close as a hockey sim would be.

Prepare yourself for an adventure that will change your perspective about being a General Manager of a sport team.
