Description

Harpoon 3 Pro is used as a real world tool for military professionals. This simulation builds on the decades-long Harpoon tradition of naval warfare originally designed as a paper system by Larry Bond.

Originally started based on the versions available at that time, later editions of Harpoon 3 Pro build on Larry Bond's Harpoon 3: Advanced Naval Warfare by extending the VCR (recording) and Umpires functionality for professional training purposes. It also adds a Monte Carlo analysis feature, GIS import, game state exports and a Satellite Tool Kit (STK) export feature.

US Customers include the US Navy, as well as defense professionals at Northrop-Grumman Corp., and the RAND Corporation working on behalf of the US DOD. Export customers are located in Japan, Canada, Sweden, Mexico and Australia. It is not available in retail but sold on a case-by-case basis.
