'iM1A2 Abrams' is the successor to 'Tank Platoon' and would originally be called 'Tank Platoon 2'. 'Tank Platoon' was created in 1989 by 'Wild' Bill Stealy for MicroProse. When Stealy sold MicroProse in 1997 he could not claim the 'Tank Platoon' title anymore and the game was called 'iM1A2 Abrams'.
