Freshwater Trophies is a licensed fishing simulation from the In-Fisherman magazine. The game brings you fishing with high quality graphics and sound. The fish are detailed and accurate in all aspects. This game will give you a realistic fishing experience.
With 10 lakes offering 30 different species of fish, you will have plenty to do in this game. The fish are placed in the lakes in a realistic way where their behaviors and appearances are the same as you would find in these lakes in real life.
Choose from 70 lures and live bait as you prepare to take on the fish. Choose your rod, reel, and line and get ready! Using your fish finder, cruise the lake to find a good spot to fish from. Once you are close, switch to the trolling motor and slowly approach where the fish are. The maps of the lakes will help you locate the best spots as well.
The game offers different weather conditions based on the season and the time of day. These include rain, fog, changing light conditions (day, night, dawn, etc), clear and overcast skies, and different water conditions from clear to muddy.
Fish around fallen trees and weeds, or in open water as you search for the biggest fish out there.
Choose to go on a simple fishing trip, or compete in a tournament, or choose to play in career mode. Or, if you're up for it, try out the multiplayer mode for the ultimate challenge.
And, because In-Fisherman magazine was a major part of the production of this game, you will also find pro fishing tips direct from the magazine on how to catch the various fish found in the game using the many lure types.
