The Incredible Hulk

Perhaps this is due to the game being rushed out to coincide with the film's release, but whatever the reasoning behind it, The Incredible Hulk just doesn't quite seem finished. There is undoubtedly fun to be had, leaping around the city causing all manner of destructive mayhem, but it's ultimately disposable. You've essentially seen the best the game has to offer in the first couple of hours of gameplay. The game really could have come into its own online, but sadly there is no multiplayer element at all. The prospect of two Hulks laying waste to New York City as they battle it out is a tantalising one (next-gen Rampage?). Sadly, those who purchase The Incredible Hulk will be faced with a short, easy, frustratingly messy single player game that hardly justifies its retail price.

Zu Spielbeginn macht es Spaß, Hulks zerstörerische Fähigkeiten in New York einzusetzen. Doch bereits nach den ersten Aufgaben stellt sich gepflegte Langeweile ein.

Overall there is something to be said for a game where more fun is to be had outside the mission storyline then in it, like some of the GTA series. But this title just can't seem to get everything in the right perspective, whilst some enjoyment can be had, there just isn't enough care taken elsewhere. The type of game they have produced isn't really aimed at the age group it's been set at, I would say the BBFC 12 rating is the ragged edge of the target audiences age group . If you are a huge Hulk fan however, you may just like it, but I'm afraid a rental is the best bet for this title.

Wie stellen Sie sich einen Stadtpark vor? Ich so: Rasen, Bäume, Bänke, vielleicht ein Teich, ein paar putzige Enten... In Der Unglaubliche Hulk habe ich einen Park gefunden. Er ist grün - wie der Hulk. Aber das war's auch schon. Darin steht rein gar nichts. Die Lieblosigkeit der Entwickler ist in diesem Park perfekt zusammengefasst. Und außerdem soll mir bitte jemand erklären, wieso eine Kolonne von fünf Taxis, zwei Feuerwehrautos und einem Betonmischfahrzeug explodiert, wenn ich einem armen Passanten hineinwerfe. Das Spiel hätte mit den Klettereinlagen an Hochhäusern und ausufernden Zerstörungsorgien tatsächlich lustig werden können. Ist es aber nicht - maximal für Hardcore-Fans.

Käytännössä aivan sama peli on tehty tuhat kertaa paremmin jo vuosia sitten, esimerkkinä voisi käyttää vaikka edellisen konsolisukupolven ihan onnistunutta Spider-Man 2:ta. Pelin pelaamiselle ei ole oikeastaan mitään syytä, ja jos joku tästä 50 euroa maksaa, on itku kotona ihan taattu juttu. Ja se on ansaittu itku se, koska ainoa syy miksi näitä murheenkryynejä vielä kehitetään ja julkaistaan, on se, että joku pässi niitä aina ostaa.

A l’instar de son copain Iron Man, la créature verte de Stan Lee ne parvient à aucun moment à attirer son attention malgré tout le boucan qu’elle est capable de faire autour d'elle. Moche, doté d’un gameplay qui frise le néant et d’une durée de vie rikiki, The Incredible Hulk contentera – peut-être – tous ceux qui adhèrent au célèbre adage que voici : tout dans les muscles, rien dans la tête.

Si on trouve la force de fermer les yeux sur ses graphismes d'un autre âge, l'Incroyable Hulk peut divertir une heure ou deux un public peu exigeant. Comment garder son calme cependant face aux problèmes de caméra récurrents et à l'omniprésence des bugs trahissant le réel et tragique manque de finition du titre ?

The PC version of The Incredible Hulk is awful. What little fun that could be had in the other versions of this game has been destroyed here, only to be replaced with glitchy graphics that won't even let you see the city and a desolate city that somehow makes destruction boring. It's bewildering that the developers ported the inferior PS2 and Wii versions instead of the far more satisfying PS3 and X360 versions. Stay far away from this game.

Das Spiel zum Film ist wirklich unglaublich - unglaublich schlecht! Dem Titel merkt man seine lieblose Konsolenkonvertierung an jeder Ecke an: Angefangen bei der Installation, die erst auf dem fünften Testrechner klappte, über die monotonen Renn-hin-und-mach-alles-platt-Missionen bis hin zur unnötig komplizierten Steuerung und zum absolut unmotivierten Bruce-Banner-Synchronsprecher gibt es einfach nichts Positives von dem Titel zu berichten. Über die unterdurchschnittliche Optik verlieren wir schon aus Prinzip kein Wort.
