De film is schitterend, het spel wat minder. Misschien zullen de kleintjes er nog het langst van genieten.

Here was a great chance for a great movie to come into our homes give us the chance to make our own fun from it. Instead, we're delivered a stale adventure game with a fancy name on it. When it could have shined, it was dull. When the chance to kick in and throw some punches comes along, your thrusts are mired with the sluggish controls. At times, it felt as if the game was doing its own thing and you were just a spectator. I wanted to feel like Mr. Incredible, but was left feeling more like Captain Yawn.

Wat we The Incredibles echt verwijten is dat je gewoonweg niet genoeg gameplezier voor je geld krijgt. Het hele spel kan je makkelijk in zeven uurtjes doorworstelen en de paar extra?s die je erbij krijgt verlengen het leven van dit spel slechts heel even.

Jede Figur besitzt eigene Fähigkeiten: Mrs. Incredible etwa erwischt dank ihrer dehnbaren Arme selbst weit entfernte Gegner. Die Levels sind zwar abwechslungsreich, aber oft extrem schwer.

Incredibles is a platform, fighting, running, chasing, seeking out game. It's certainly not original, although the cast are larger than life and full of vitality and clever tricks but it is not enough. The downside is that the cameras work is pretty dire and the actual layout and design of the levels are like they have been done by numbers - all pretty obvious and there is nothing really cunning or surprising in store...

Autre gêne, l'animation étonnamment saccadée avec un frame-rate assez bas et qui se permet encore des chutes lorsque trop d'ennemis se pointent à l'écran. C'est difficile à comprendre, surtout quand on voit la qualité graphique passablement moyenne et grossière. On nous sert un portage paresseux du jeu dans sa version console, et ça se voit. Au final, des Indestructibles, on retiendra surtout le film d'animation qui devrait être bien plus poilant que ce jeu d'action/plates-formes triste comme un jour sans beaux nuages blancs.

The greatest crime depicted in the game isn't Syndrome's machinations, but the speed with which the lame design renders dull action out of such cool characters. Because the visuals are so faithful to the film, young players might get a brief thrill out of the simple punching and stretching. But after fighting through yet another wave of carbon-copied bad guys, even they will have to admit that The Incredibles is anything but.

Les jeux vidéo inspirés de dessins animés sont légion aujourd'hui. Mais loin de satisfaire les joueurs, ces titres servent plus l'auto-promotion que la création artistique. « Les Indestructibles » n'échappe pas à la règle, offrant un titre mal réalisé, qui n'arrivera même pas à attirer l'attention des enfants plus de quelques minutes.
