P.S is there a tech support forum for out of print games franklin , la salle , geo , oldsmoble , went out of buisness but you can still get tech support for them at most any GM dealership how come computers games when they go out of buisness it like they never existed

because people go through games a lot faster than they go through cars, at least partially due to cars' significantly larger price point. Duh!
By the way, is Stellar Forces considered freeware or abandonware now ?
Nothing ever accidentally backslides into freeware territory: if it's not initially released as freeware, the only power that can recategorize it thus is a proclamation by the owner.
As for abandonware, games are considered abandonware as soon as greedy gamers are tired of waiting for their price point to drop, sometimes arguing local unavailability or lack of publisher support. I would say a more forgiving version of abandonware would be to wait until all conceivable interest in a game other than scholarly was functionally impossible (some old games we play because it reveals the time in which they were made, not because they're actually any fun) and Korea makes that angle inapplicable here 8)
