Apart from more or less visible knowledge transfer (in the times of "Who wants to be a millionaire?" one must use each source) I had fun with "Jerusalem" ! Particularly I would like to emphasize the graphic improvements, which is particularly designed variedly and closer to real life, almost like a movie through the change of perspectives. I hope that in the third part of the trilogy this card is then played even more.

Au final, Jérusalem s'inscrit dans la droite lignée de ses prédécesseurs. Si vous avez apprécier Pompéi, il y a donc de grandes chances que vous accrochiez à ce titre. En outre, il constitue une excellente manière d'aborder et de comprendre les conflits qui se déroulent actuellement au proche Orient.

Als edutainment pakketje kan het wel tellen, maar Jerusalem heeft gewoon te weinig te bieden om als deftig game bestempeld te worden!

Overall the graphics and background music are good and the voice acting tolerable. Jerusalem is a pleasant enough playing experience but it is fairly short and routine. It is about the same length and quality as Egypt 2 but I liked the story and heroine of Egypt 2 more. It is better produced than Pompeii. The puzzles are easy for experienced gamers but may well suit beginning adventurers though there are better games than this one to start off with.

In Jerusalem, it wouldn't have been so bad if you could have bypassed mind numbingly lecturing conversations and enjoyed the game - but in fact the game would not always advance without them. I have to admit - I am like the little kid in the Life cereal ads - I pretty much find something to like about almost any game, but the original Pompeii made me want to shoot the game box. I finished it finally by playing through it with a WT in hand - just to get it over with. The same applies to Jerusalem for the most part.

Das Programm versteht sich als Mix aus Spiel und interaktivem Geschichtsbuch. Vieles dreht sich um die Ursprünge von Weltreligionen. Ärgerlicherweise ist die Umsetzung misslungen, das Ganze wirkt so einschläfernd wie das Wort zum Sonntag. Auch Grafik, Dialoge und Rätsel sind billig und lieblos.
