Jewel Jones

Jewel Jones is a Boulder Dash variant. The player takes the role of Jewel Jones, a treasure hunter. He digs through 40 levels where the goal is to grab all diamonds in a limited time. Similar to Boulder Dash the underground is full of dirt and stones. If Jones digs through dirt under a stone it falls and crushed down. The challenges are either action oriented traps, e.g. a regular shot arrow which has to be avoided, or puzzles like a locked door.

The player starts with five lives, he loses one if crushed by a stone or dying in a explosions and he loses two when the level is in a unwinnable state. When losing all lives the player has to start all over because there is no save or password system.
