Jewels of the oracle révolutionne le genre. Vous n'en sortirez plus la nuit.
PC Gamer
A few years ago, there was a new-age style puzzle game called Heaven and Earth that developed quite a cult following. It offered logic puzzles and computer "toys" to play and twiddle with, wrapped up in new-age graphics and lingo and accompanied by Kitaro-like music. Then, of course, came Myst, which also offered puzzles with a warm, fuzzy fantasy environment to explore at your leisure. (--T.Liam McDonald)
This game was an amusing hybrid of the search-and-discover aspects of a Myst "clone," and the mind-bending puzzles of The 7th Guest.
World Village (Gamer's Zone)
Jewels of the Oracle is definitely not a ground breaking product that will recruit new fans into the puzzle genre of gaming. That aside, this is a puzzle game and what it does is extremely well done indeed. If you are a puzzle fan, you will love this game. If not, why are you reading this review? The only downside to Jewels, and it's a fault most puzzle games have, is that once completed there is nothing to bring you back. Of course, you could always show it to a friend to demonstrate your superior intellect! Overall, a must for any puzzle fan!

Entertainment Weekly
Despite some clever conundrums and animated 3-D embellishments, going back to the same well every time gets a little dry. Jewels' designers obviously were trying for another Myst, but what they've created is a very pretty game without Myst's Shakespearean subplot. Working your way through its 24 puzzle rooms ultimately feels claustrophobic.
If you like the logic puzzles of Entombed or The 7th Guest, and you've been wondering how you are going to fill up the long winter nights that are ahead, then Jewels of the Oracle from Discis Entertainment may be just what you need.

Power Play
Adventure Classic Gaming
Jewels of the Oracle is a niche title for gamers who simply enjoy challenging logic puzzles or games of strategy. Its success is seen from the fact that several imitators have since been released from different developers and publishers, all claiming to be the true sequel to the cult classic Jewels of the Oracle. For the veteran adventure gamers, however, such enthusiasm quickly dies down from the lack of continuity in gameplay between these puzzles.
