Collector's Edition (Limited Edition) box of "Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny", which was later released, contains a small card with 5mins free hints to call for. Nothing much, but nice card though :)

Westwood Studios released "Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny" in 1998, just a couple of months after their game actually hit the shelves worldwide.
The music for "Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny" is composed by Frank Klepacki (Westwood Studios) & David Arkenstone (Arkensounds, Inc.), in a new-age style mostly.
CD contains some tunes that cannot be found in a game. Here's the list:
- Ancient Magic
- Gladstone
- The Battle of Gladstone
- Huline Jungle
- Claw Mountains
- Emperor's Theme
- Ru-Loi Citadel
- Ru-Loi Battle
- The Draracle Halls
- The Temple
- Belial's Birth
- Chamber of Voices
- City of the Ancients
- Finale
In "Lands of Lore II", Westwood for the first time
(for Westwood, anyway --Ed.) used 3D sound effects (as you turn your character, the sound can be heard only from direction from where it comes, not only if you front it). They also made nice fading away and changing to fast & danger music everytime you attacked someone or was attacked by someone.
Lands of Lore II actually puts you in a role of son of a witch Scotia you just happen to kill in the original
Lands of Lore, and by that, you're given the opportunity to end this game two-ways. As a good curse-released Luther, or as a mother's son, a new emperor of the lands.
