Masters of the Elements
Description official descriptions
In the Castle of Infinity live the eccentric masters of the elements: grandfather Time, uncle Gravity, father Warmth, mother Light and their daughter Electricity - and the mysterious Master of Chance, who lives in a house in the garden. When the Master of Chance loses his cat, the balance of the elements is disturbed as all the other masters have gone to search for the pet, and lost their magical power-granting rings in the process. It is up to you to restore the natural order of things and collect the missing pages of the Garden of Chance story. When you solve a puzzle and find a new page, the Master of Chance tells you a story with clues that lead to the missing cat.
In this game, for ages 8 to 102, the rooms of the five castle-dwelling Masters can be traversed freely. The different rooms are related to the natural elements and teach a very limited amount of physics and science through the games and puzzles. You can pick up things (including the magical rings of the elements), but there is no inventory, as all items have to be used in the screen where they were found. Finding a new exit from one room to another unlocks part of a storybook describing the lives of, and relationships between, the five castle-dwelling Masters; five puzzles, one in each room, unlock the five pages of the story of what happened to the missing cat. Optional puzzles and challenges unlock four-leaf clovers, of which there are ten. When all five missing pages have been discovered, you can enter the Garden of Chance to retrieve the missing cat. The Garden of Chance is a board game featuring challenges based on the principles taught by the game - but the final challenge is purely luck-based, with the probability of winning being altered in the player's favor with each four-leaf clover found.
