Mortal Kombat 4

Het zal wel duidelijk zijn: ik ben enthousiast genoeg over MK4 om er ettelijke uren, dagen, weken, enz... aan te besteden, en ik denk dat de meesten dat zullen zijn. Het spel is moeilijk genoeg en bezit genoeg variatie om de speler lang te kunnen boeien. De enkele kleine minpuntjes vallen in het niets tegenover de pluspunten.

Z jednej strony gra ma fajny klimat i muzykę, z drugiej grafikę można było trochę podrasować. Grę oczywiście polecam tym, którzy są z nieśmiertelnym Mortalem od początku i tym, którzy zaczynają dopiero z nim przygodę, ponieważ... no, cóż tytuł mówi sam za siebie, a te drobne niedopracowania graficzne nie są kategorycznymi minusami (ot, taki maleńki minusik). Jeśli chodzi o sposób walki to każdy ma swój gust. Niektórym podoba się taki system walki, mnie nie i nic na to nie poradzę. Ja wolę grać w mistrzowskiego, moim (i zapewne, nie tylko) zdaniem, Virtua Fighter 2 i przy niej na razie pozostanę.

If you aren't a fan of the previous Mortal Kombat games, this one won't make you a fan. It's pretty much the same game but with a few 3D elements tossed in. But fans of the other versions of MK4 won't be disappointed with this excellent translation.

В общем, ожидания революционного прорыва для MK4 совершенно не оправдались — мы имеем трехмерный Mortal Kombat 3 с некоторыми нововведениями, слабеньким звуком (ну не тянут эти звуки на современные стандарты) и такой же музыкой — в фильмах по MK она была получше. Игра не претендует на PC вообще ни на что. Это поделка, призванная состричь побольше капусты с фанатов сериала MK. Если вы себя к таковым не относите — MK4 явно не для вас.

With responsive controls and interesting characters, this is an excellent conversion of a decent, gore-filled fighter. But for all its 3D polygonal grandeur this is still Mortal Kombat, and while you can't say the game isn't fun, it still lacks the depth of its competition.

Unless you're a potential playground bully who reckons that it may be therapeutic and slightly less anti-social to batter 3D opponents rather than the fat kid with the doughnuts and glasses, you should avoid this crap. Challenge your mates to a game of on-screen soccer or something instead.

Jeg håber, at alle ikke-MK-fans vil høre på mig, når jeg siger, at dette spil næsten intet har at byde på. I skulle hellere bruge pengene nede i den lokale spillehal, hvor man kan opleve de rigtige kampspil.

Mortal Kombat 4, comme son doux nom l’indique, est le quatrième volet de la série mythique de jeu de baston disponible sur pratiquement toutes les consoles, actuelles ou révolues. Ainsi, nous retrouvons Raiden, Sub-Zéro ou encore Johnny Cage et toute la bande, avec quelques nouveautés. Malheureusement, ce jeu culte souffre de quelques problèmes principalement techniques qui l’empêchent d’atteindre le niveau auquel il aurait pu prétendre.
