Beavis & butthead don't have their regular shirts in this game...
Instead of an AC/DC shirt Butthead has a Skull shirt...
and Beavis has a Death Rock shirt instead of a Metallica one...
In-game references to particular episodes of the TV show include:
The character in the prison's mental section who has ‘Killer’ tattooed on his fore-head, whom the dim-witted duo call “Kyler”, appeared in the series when he escaped from prison in the double-episode ‘Most Wanted’, and there is mention of the tattoos he gave the pair on their butts.
Short-sighted Mr. Anderson wonders if the gruesome twosome are the same kids who ruined construction of his out-door swimming pool, a reference to the episode ‘Pool Boys’.
During the game’s closing credits, the pair mention when they made an animation at school, a reference to the episode ‘Animation Sucks’.
All four of the music videos that the dim-witted duo watch during the game first appeared in episodes of the TV show (several of these music videos also appear on home video releases of assorted episodes).
'Beavis and Butt-Head in Virtual Stupidity' was named #48 in the Top 50 Best Games of All Time by PC Gamer magazine in their October 2001 issue.
The game features full-length videos of GWAR's "Saddam a Go Go", Primus's "DMV" , and Sausage's "Riddles Are Abound Tonight". All of them commented by Beavis & Butt-Head, of course.
