Game Mile
The game has truly carnival look and feel: bizarre scenes, quirky characters, and even the carnival hubbab(voices of carnies, melody of the merry-go-round, roar of the three-headed beast and finally, the voice of Madame Fate that follows your every step). Thanks to it all, you find yourself rambling between the attractions of Madame Fate's carnival just like you did as a child. Hats off to Big fish games.

Bring out the magnifying glass if you need it, though, because Mystery Case Files: Madame Fate isn't a game to be missed. The lovingly detailed carnival atmosphere is as enticing as the real thing, and the story sucks you in as well - you'll want to keep playing until you find out the fates of each of the carnies and of Madame Fate herself.

The graphics and sound are passable but the best aspect to this game are the puzzles and the variation between them. Every scene is different so one scene may involve solving 10 puzzles while the next one could be a word puzzle such as hangman, revealing the hidden word or using appropriate words to describe characters in the game. In this respect, I can see that it could have a particular appeal to kids and could be a useful tool in helping improve their grammar and spelling.
