Again an exciting crime case, this time with clearly better graphics and harder puzzles. Surely not only for teenagers, but for all, who enjoy painstaking detective work. Certainly we have a new case in a new environment, but the game pattern altogether doesn't particularly stand out against the first part of the series and remains limited to only a few locations. Because of the missing originality no higher rating than for the first part.

Quandary
Stay Tuned for Danger is the second exciting instalment in the Nancy Drew series from Her Interactive. It is a captivating and imaginative game for budding young detectives that provides a very worthy challenge in solving the mystery. As with the first title, Secrets Can Kill, it is aimed primarily at girls aged 10 and up, but really it is a game that anyone might enjoy.

Just Adventure
My main criticism of the game is in the third act of the story. I wish Nancy could have a more active role in settling the mystery. The red herrings are so plentiful, and the identity of the guilty party is revealed so abruptly, it left me wishing that Nancy would have had some time to evaluate all of the info she had gathered and had different choices on how to proceed with that knowledge. Oh, well, something for the third game!

For all the criticisms I’ve given this game, I had lots of fun playing it. It’s an excellent diversion from the longer games out there, and doesn’t ask a serious investment of your time or money, both of which are increasingly scarce commodities. I’m very excited to see where HI and Infogrames will take the new adventures of Nancy Drew!

Adventure Classic Gaming
Nancy Drew: Stay Tuned for Danger is the second game in the Nancy Drew series by Her Interactive. This chapter improves on the first in several ways. As before, there are 3 difficulty levels, the most being the Master Detective mode. The game is recommended for ages 10 and up, but any child who can sit still long enough to read a Nancy Drew book can enjoy this game as well.

UHS (Universal Hint System)
Her Interactive released their first Nancy Drew adventure game, Secrets Can Kill in 1999 and made many improvements in Stay Tuned for Danger, their second game. However, this second game still does not measure up to the caliber of other adventure games that have graced the store shelves.
