Summary

It tries something new, but also loses a lot.

The Good

This game featured, for the first time, some very important moves in basketball: crossover, fade-away, etc. The players' faces look pretty well, although a bit square. The sounds aren't bad, and the players' movements are quite natural.

The Bad

But I don't understand why this game has such a bad gameplay. It is simply MUCH too easy. It's absolutely no fun to play this game and always to win. The computer's AI is horrible. You can just drive your point-guard directly to the basket and score without problems - and this is playing at the highest level! All those new movements are completely inutile.

The Bottom Line

Due to the poor computer's AI, this game isn't very enjoyable. One of the weakest NBA games of all-time.
