Embora a inteligência artificial dos policiais não seja necessariamente brilhante (mas eles ainda assim surpreendem em algumas situações, com verdadeiras táticas de perseguição), tampouco a idéia das perseguições policiais seja original, "Need for Speed Most Wanted" conseguiu a difícil tarefa de suceder com sucesso uma série que já é tradição quando se fala em games de corrida. O impacto não é igual ao de "Underground", mas, se é diversão de qualidade o que importa, o jogo vale muito a pena.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted, jako już kolejna odsłona serii, prezentuje się niezwykle smakowicie. Autorzy nie próbowali implementować do niej żadnych przesadzonych bajerów, lecz skupili się na tym, co de facto jest najważniejsze – grywalności, różnorodności tras i w miarę przyzwoitym wątku fabularnym, który nie spowoduje, że odechce nam się ścigać po kilku godzinach grania. Wiadomo, że nie to jest najważniejsze, ale jednak – skoro decyduje się na scenariusz – to trzeba go chociaż w przyzwoitym stopniu zrealizować. Poza tym multum tras, samochodów, ciekawych rzeczy do odblokowania, świetna ścieżka dźwiękowa, to jest to, co przemawia za zakupem. Jednak, jak na te niespełna 140 złotych, które należy zapłacić za grę, mogłaby być ona nieco dłuższa. Kilka dynamicznych wieczorów i mamy praktycznie zabawę z głowy.

Podsumowując całą grę jest to produkt dobry potrafiący zatrzymać przed monitorem na długie godziny. Mnogość trybów gry, fabuła czy dodatki w postaci wyzwań to rozgrywka na długi czas. Grafika oraz muzyka nie odstrasza, a raczej przyciąga gracza, a adrenalina pompowana w żyły podczas wyścigów także robi swoje. Pozostało mi zaprosić jedynie do przetestowania najnowszego dziecka EA z rodziny NFS i samemu się przekonać na ile słuszna jest recenzja.

Need for Speed Most Wanted is a great game and the best one of the Need for Speed series so far. Fast speeds with the endless customization of cars with a choice of tuners and exotic cars gives one endless hours of play. The great soundtrack and great replay value keeps you coming back for more. At some point the cops do seem a little hard to shake, but it does not take away from the game play. I can highly recommend this game for the racer in all of us. Take to the streets and see if you can out run the cop; who hasn’t wanted to do that?

Need for Speed: Most Wanted jest grą bardzo dobrą. Nie jest może grą rewolucyjną, ale na pewno wnosi trochę do gatunku, a te pomysły, które istniały już wcześniej, wykorzystuje w bardzo dobry sposób. Można jedynie ponarzekać na to, że nie da się aż tak bardzo ulepszać samochodu, ale przynajmniej można część ustawień zmienić każdego z ulepszeń, a to też już jest coś, choć za mało. No i samych ulepszeń jest dość niewiele. Most Wanted spełnia jednak najważniejsze wymaganie gier komputerowych - bawi i daje naprawdę dużo przyjemności. I to bez względu na platformę, gdyż na obu gra różni się tylko grafiką, a rozgrywka przebiega praktycznie tak samo – świetnie. Więc, jeśli lubicie gry wyścigowe albo też oglądać pościgi policyjne w telewizji lub na filmach, to nie zastanawiajcie się długo. Macie PS2? Kupcie wersję na tę platformę. Macie PC? To na PC. Macie obie? To... Sami wybierzcie. A jeśli macie kierownicę, to chyba nie muszę mówić więcej.

Insgesamt ist Need for Speed: Most Wanted eine Mischung aus dem Besten aller bisherigen Need for Speed-Spiele. Es macht einfach eine Menge Spaß seine Wagen nach und nach aufzumotzen und optisch zu verändern. Dazu kommen die actionreichen und spannenden Verfolgungsjagden mit der Polizei, die einem immer wieder auf's Neue fordern. Durch die kleine Hintergrundgeschichte und durch die Blacklist wird das Ganze noch gut zusammen gehalten und der Spieler wird ständig motiviert. Die schöne Stadt, die sehr schicke Grafik und die gelungene Soundkulisse tragen den Rest dazu bei. Wirkliche Kritikpunkte gibt es kaum. Somit ist Need for Speed: Most Wanted wohl für jeden eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung der auch nur ansatzweise Rennspiele mag. Auf dem Sektor der arcadelastigen Rennspielen gibt es zur Zeit nichts besseres.

Unlike boring driving sims, where the focus is on making perfect corners and minimizing your lap times, NFS eschews realism for pure action, raw speed, and visceral sensation. The latest edition in the series, Most Wanted continues the tradition.

Mich hat die Speed-Sucht wieder voll erwischt. Most Wanted macht der traditionsreichen Rennserie alle Ehre. Hier stimmt fast alles, das Spieldesign ist nahezu perfekt! Im Einzelspieler-Modus kommt es immer genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt zu motivierenden Änderungen - neue Stadtteile, Bonuswagen oder extravagante Tuningteile. Außerdem gibt es bei Most Wanted wieder fett was auf die Ohren. Sowohl Motorengeräusche als auch der durchweg von Top-Bands beigesteuerte Soundtrack sind der Wahnsinn.

If EA continues to make sequels like this, then there's much hope for the future. I think they need to stick to the recipe that made this title as good as it is. In spite of some of the negative things we've been saying about the giant publisher's questionable strategies, we have to give them credit where credit is due. Namely, they sure know how to combine elements to make a top-quality arcade racer. NFS: Most Wanted didn't exactly elevate the series, but it successfully mixed all the ingredients that made the previous games addictive to play.

Die beste Bullenjagd aller Zeiten: Im jüngsten Teil der legendären Need-for-Speed-Serie feiern die motorisierten Ordnungshüter ein furioses Comeback. Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Need for Speed! Doch anstatt sich zum zehnten Geburtstag reich beschenken zu lassen, erfüllt Entwickler Blackbox den Herzenswunsch vieler Spieler: Nachdem bei den Vorgängern Underground 1 und 2 anarchische Zustände auf den Straßen herrschten, kehrt bei Most Wanted die Polizei zurück auf die Bildschirme.

Czas uciekać...oczywiście, aby dalej grać w nowego NFS’a. To chyba największy z możliwych komplementów dla gry. Zresztą, co tu dużo gadać – Most Wanted należy do tego rodzaju gier, przy których mówisz sobie „jeszcze jeden, ostatni raz – dosłownie – i uciekam się uczyć”. Bzdura. Nie mając wspomnianych na początku recenzji przynajmniej 6 wolnych godzin, lepiej nie zasiadać do gry. Gorąco polecam tę produkcję wszystkim maniakom prędkości!

For people who liked the NFS: Hot Pursuit and its exotic cars, or those who love the tuner cars of NFS: Underground, this is a combination of both. NFSMW is the best racing game of season and definitely a must buy.

Need for Speed Most Wanted succeeds in many ways, but too often I found myself racing in events that I felt I had already played. In that respect, EA Canada could have put more emphasis on unique races, perhaps striving for a game that provides the gamer with genuinely new-feeling race events each time. That's a minor gripe in an overall excellent package. If you're a Need for Speed fan out there, Most Wanted will be your most wanted holiday present this season.

Gentlemen, ladies, start your engines for I am to enter the race of presenting the game whose only reason for being is speed: Need For Speed: Most Wanted, the latest product with which Electronic Arts is decided to win the gamers' hearts. And since we're speaking of luxury cars, which you can tune to the limit of your imagination, beautiful women, illegal racing and loads and loads of cash, I doubt that anyone will ignore Need For Speed: Most Wanted.

Zehn Jahre Tempo, teure Autos, Tausende Tuningteile: Die Need for Spped-Serie feiert Jubiläum. Der jüngste Spross ist quasi ein Best of seiner sieben Vorgänger: Luxuskarossen, Tuning, offene Strecken, viele Abkürzungen und anhängliche Polizeiwagen. Reicht es damit auch zum besten Teil der Serie?

Endlich kann ich wieder die Cops an die Wand fahren. Die filmreifen Verfolgungsjagden passen wunderbar ins Spiel und wurden durch die neuen Rennmodi zusätzlich aufgewertet. Auch das deutlich abwechslungsreichere Streckendesign erinnert positiv an die grandiosen Teile 3 und 4. Und Gott sei Dank darf ich nun auch wieder tagsüber rasen. Mir haben stimmungsvolle Sonnenuntergänge (man denke nur an NfS Porsche) schon immer besser gefallen als eine rabenschwarze Nacht. Motzen kann ich eigentlich nur über den happigen Schwierigkeitsgrad und die noch immer nicht perfekte Lenkrad-Steuerung.

Need for Speed Most Wanted has come together quite nicely. The presentation is very sleek and stylish, the graphics are very impressive, and the sound effects aren’t bad either. The cars are awesome and fast, there are tons of quality races to take up lots of your time, and you won’t have to spend a lot of time sitting around waiting for Most Wanted to load.

If you want the cheap, easy, one-sentence description of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, it's actually pretty straightforward: it's Underground 2 with cop chases. There's obviously a lot more to it than that, but at its very core that's what you're getting, and that's certainly not a bad thing. The gameplay structure is essentially the same, it's still hip-deep in "street culture," and it still has the same basic feel to the controls. It's fast, good looking, boasts a great car list, and gives you plenty of game for the money. You get about 15 hours of gameplay from the main career mode, plus there are 68 additional challenges that will take you a fair few hours to get through, as well as online play.

EA's long-running Need for Speed series took a trip underground a couple of years back when the developer refocused the game solely on illegal street racing. While the nighttime racing series was certainly successful, the lawless world was always missing one key factor: cops. This year's installment crawls back into the daylight. The actual racing hasn't changed too much, but the ever-present police make this game a whole lot more interesting.

Hoewel het racen zelf niet echt het sterkste punt is van Need for Speed Most Wanted, blijft het nog meer dan voldoende degelijk om je geinteresseerd en spelende te houden. De echte sterren van de show zijn zonder twijfel de jongens van de politie die we al te lang hebben moeten missen in deze reeks. Welkom terug jongens.

Przyznam, że nowa odsłona serii to dla mnie wielkie zaskoczenie. Spodziewałem się w najlepszym przypadku średniaka, skutecznie kontynuującego kiepskie rozwiązania z "NFSU" i części kolejnej, a tu proszę - śliczna, dopracowana, grywalna gra. Ponadto zadbano też o to, by "Most Wanted" nie było kolejną grą na weekend - wyzwania, misje, pościgi występują tu w naprawdę wielkich ilościach i żeby ukończyć wszystkie potrzeba mnóstwo czasu. I zdecydowanie warto choćby część z nich sprawdzić. Jest oczywiście kilka uchybień - niektórych zirytuje mniej rozbudowany tuning (choć "cięcia" wcale nie są tak duże) i przede wszystkim wysoka ocena gry. Ale - jeśli chodzi o to ostatnie - tak to już jest, że EA Polska lubi nam serwować takie właśnie niemiłe niespodzianki cenowe, znów każąc sobie płacić blisko 140 zł. Szkoda. Niemniej jednak, gdy tylko gra potanieje, zagrać w nią nie zaszkodzi, tym bardziej, że nic lepszego w tym gatunku w tym roku się nie pojawiło.

Need For Speed est un style de jeu à lui tout seul. Avec sa réalisation convaincante et son gameplay très accessible, il plaira forcément aux amateurs de conduite arcade basée sur des pointes de vitesse hors du commun. Le mode carrière parvient à immerger le joueur et on se glisse volontiers dans la peau d'un as du volant.

Chez EA les mots d’ordre sont : originalité, nouveauté, créativité. La recherche ultime du « Jamais VU ». Donc ils sortent ce qui est le 9ème NFS. Ce volet est un énorme mélange de tout ce qui a fait le succès des précédents : courses rapides sur routes ouvertes, voitures de sport de luxe, courses-poursuites avec la maréchaussée et du tuning. Une année sans NFS c’est aussi long qu’une année sans jeu sur la seconde guerre mondiale, et à peu près aussi rare.
