Ultimately, it's a different style of role-playing to what we've become accustomed to in recent years. Narrative heavy RPGs like Mass Effect, the KOTORs, Fallout 3 etc. have dominated the genre. In many ways, Storm of Zehir is a reminder of where RPGs came from, those early D&D years of four adventurers simply out for fun, fame and fortune. I guess sometimes we don?t want the pressure of being 'The One', the hero fated to save the planet; sometimes we just want to grab a sword, wander into a dungeon and fireball a few kobolds. Sometimes we don't want a grand quest. The real story of Storm of Zehir is the tall tales you'll be telling in the tavern afterwards.
