Ten years have passed since the Trojan War and still Queen Penelope waits for the return of Ulysses. Finally, with the kingdom in unrest, and surrounding lords plotting for control of her kingdom, she sends for you. Banished as a murderer a decade ago, you embark on a quest - to search the seven seas for Ulysses and bring him home or return with proof of his death.

Through many lands filled with perils and dangerous trials, it is by your present actions that your past crime will ultimately be judged.

Sail away with the Heriseus, on a voyage filled with danger and discovery. Encounter allies and foes and numerous NPC’s, each with distinctive characteristics and individual personalities. Travel to strange lands full of mythical creatures to confront the terrifyingly ugly gorgon whose glance will turn you to stone, the monolithic Cyclops with their appetite for humans, and Poseidon, the god of the sea, who tests your worthiness as a hero...

Inspired by one of Homer's classic tales, The Odyssey...Search for Ulysses(TM) takes the player on an interactive odyssey through the lands of mythological gods and creatures.

The player has the opportunity to control Heritias, also referred to in the game as Heriseus, a childhood friend of Ulysses, who has been banished from Ithaca since the Trojan War, a decade past. Queen Penelope, dealing with a kingdom in complete unrest, has summoned him to search the seas for Ulysses, or bring proof of his death.

And so Heritias, guided by the player, sets sail for the Trojan shores. From there, travel the path of Ulysses to the Land of the Lotus Eaters, the Island of the Cyclops, the lair of the Gorgon, the realm of Poseidon and The Elysian Fields on a quest to discover the fate of Ulysses.

Accept the challenge of Poseidon, defeat the gorgon, and escape the dinner plate of the Cyclops ... Welcome to your Odyssey.
