The map shows the cities in association with the Hanse (a sea-trade cooperative of the 13th to 17th century in Northern Europe, Scandinavia and Russia). Our first trading post is in the city of Lübeck – indicated by the blue dot.

You can trade plenty of wares in the game. Later on you will be able to produce most of them in your own facilities.

On open sea, your trading vessels may encounter stormy weather or pirates (black ships).

Sea battle are Pirates!-style shoot-outs. Trade-focused players can have the computer fight for them.

You don’t have to be a nice guy. Hire burglars, employ pirates or smuggle weapons.

You can improve cities by building new houses and facilities. In building mode, existing houses are transparent.

Our home city Lübeck has prospered under our influence. Three of our ships have docked in the harbour.

With each social ascent, you get a nice animated movie and music which makes you feel like you have really accomplished an important goal.
