This and the Xbox 360 expansion are listed in the HUDless game group, but i has a targeting reticle and two ( shaped representing active/inactive portals. It might not be much, but it's still a HUD.

How 'HUDless' does a game have to be to enter this group?

Dark Sector is HUDless - except:

- When you zoom in, you get a reticule
- When you reload a weapon, an ammo count is displayed briefly
- When you get hit, a directional damage indicator is used

Hmm... which means it's not really HUDless, I guess ;)

Well, the group description states: "Games in this group have no HUD at all during proper gameplay."

This is not the case for either Portal or Dark Sector, it's as simple as that. You could change the description to "little or no HUD", but that would only complicate things, because then where do you draw the line?

I agree with you :) Portal shouldn't be in the list as it has clearly visible HUD elements always onscreen. Dark Sector hides HUD elements until they're needed, but it also shouldn't make the list.

It does seem a shame, as I think the games' severely reduced HUDs are notable, but you're still correct.
