If you are looking for a fast-paced racing game, then Powerslide should have been under your Christmas tree. I can’t say enough about the graphics in this game. I have never seen a game run so smoothly on my AMD K6-2 333 Mhz machine. Maybe you will find me racing on the Internet sometime. I'll be the one kicking dust on your windshield. I can’t drive 55! Hang on, here we go!

Overall PowerSlide has shaped up to be the one best driving game that has ever been created on the PC as of yet this year. It takes good points from every other driving game and combines them all into one game to make the most anticipated and most intense driving game ever to grace my computer. If your a racing fanatic and your looking for something smooth and challenging that boasts the worlds fastest graphics engine and screams on your 3D card then PowerSlide is something you have to experience because if you don't you're going to be sorry.

Definitely a game in which all-different gamers can enjoy. Great graphics, good multiplayer and extraordinary gameplay give this sci-fi racer an edge over the others. By the way, if you have a k6-2, this game is optimized for 3dnow!, and it is a noticeable difference. Even if you're playing in software mode. This game is still no Wipeout XL, but it is close.

With its incredible graphics, superior control system, and adaptable AI, Powerslide really stands out in a flooded PC racer market. This game is beautiful, it's challenging, and, most importantly, it's fun. Powerslide will definitely satisfy any of you who like arcade-style racers, and the physics models are so good that you sim fans may even want to check this one out. Sure, it's no NASCAR, but you really do get the feeling of slinging yourself around dirt tracks at over 100 MPH, and that's a lot more than I can say for most of the racing games out there.

Overall this is one of the most enjoyable, unique, and innovative racing games on the market currently. The physics of the game really create a whole new style of racing, through one of the greatest visual feasts yet seen on a humble 3D Accelerated PC. Aside from the championship problem and the fact that the game's focus on physics makes it feel like a bit of a tech demo, this is a nearly flawless racing game, and an easy recommendation. Hell, how many different ways can you say that the durn'd game is good?

Mel Gibsons Filme zeichneten sich durch einige unverwechselbare Besonderheiten aus: archaisches Sozialverhalten (Du geben mir, weil ich viel Kraft); unzüchtig überfrisierte Kraftpakete (TÜV, was ist das?); apokalyptisches Endzeit-Szenario (Beachten Sie das brennende Ölfeld zu Ihrer Linken). Wer sich in dieser Welt der einfachen Lösungen wohl fühlt, hat das dazu passende Rennspiel gefunden. Die Spielumgebung ist dabei unerreicht wirklichkeitsnah. Oft genug fahre ich nicht auf einer Rennstrecke, sondern durch eine Gegend, in der sich glücklicherweise auch eine solche befindet.

Deze Powerslide stelt vooral teleur door de moeilijke besturing van je wagen. Verdraaid, nu was er eens geen onzichtbare muur. Snik snik!

Like most arcade racers, Powerslide doesn't really do anything too structurally groundbreaking. You have a limited selection of cars and a limited selection of tracks, and the majority of these must be unlocked by doing well in the championship mode (Powerslide also offers single races and time trials). The majority of the music is your run-of-the-mill arcade racing techno, though a few divergences from this style (especially one creepy symphonic piece) are notable. Still, Powerslide does what it sets out to do well, and the crazy driving style helps to keep it interesting.

Unfortunately, Powerslide is, at its core, a one-trick pony. For awhile, its one trick gets some adrenaline going, but the thrill fades soon enough. A mediocre-to-good racing game based entirely on skidding around corners, Powerslide fails to separate itself from the pack.
