Simply the best - gameplay so wonderfully involved, stupendously deep and deftly controlled that the experience has no end. A must-own for sport fans.

Neues Jahr, alte Rivalen: Fifa gegen PES. Während EA Sports offensiv vorstürmt, spielt Konami in Sachen Innovationen klein-klein, verweist Fifa mit spielerischer Raffinesse aber wieder auf den zweiten Rang.

Pro Evolution Soccer 5 ist dann das insgesamt 3. Fussballspiel das mir wirklich Spaß bereitet und es ist die erste Simulation, die das schafft. Die Lernkurve ist zwar recht hoch, aber bei keinem anderen Spiel wird man Fussball so genial erleben wie hier.

Sans surprise, PES s'impose indiscutablement comme la référence des jeux de foot cette année, écrasant plus que jamais la concurrence. On regrette cependant que Konami n'écoute pas plus les joueurs en ne réussissant pas à acquérir toutes les licences et en continuant de proposer un duo de commentateurs au bord du ridicule. Mais l'essentiel n'est pas là puisque le gameplay amélioré nous plonge dans des rencontres extrêmement réalistes où l'on prend un plaisir énorme.

Reviewing Pro Evolution Soccer games feels very, very familiar to me - it's something I've done every year for the past four years. PES 5 verteidigt souverän die Tabellenführung. Zwar wirken die Neuerungen auf den ersten Blick eher unspektakulär und zaghaft, doch Konami konzentriert sich eben zu Recht auf die Stärken der Serie – insbesondere die generalüberholte Ballphysik sorgt für noch mehr Realismus. Nur bei den grausamen Menüs und den mangelnden Lizenzen hätte ich mir mehr Mut zu Neuerungen gewünscht. Doch obwohl ich die LAN-Unterstützung schmerzlich vermisse, sind die abwechslungsreichen Partien im Multiplayer-Modus immer noch ungeschlagen. Überzeugte Solisten sollten wegen der besseren Management-Modi zwar lieber mit Fifa 06 kicken, alle ernsthaften Fußball- und Mehrspieler-Freunde greifen aber unbedingt zu Pro Evolution Soccer 5.

Veel realistischer dan dit moet het echt niet worden! Installeer op eigen risico, het gevaar bestaat dat je de komende maanden niks anders speelt!

Winning Eleven's faults, though, are minor in size and superficial by nature, so it would definitely be a mistake to let the last two paragraphs discourage you from checking out what otherwise is an excellent and well-produced game. That said, if the upcoming Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer manages to retain the same level quality present in its predecessors while accomplishing more in the graphics and licensing department, then no doubt, there will definitely be a mark on our 2007 calendars when the game is set to release.

Electronic Arts n’a fait que constater cet état de fait. Impuissant pendant 3 ans, l’éditeur américain a décidé de réagir à ce Pearl Harbour videoludique avec Fifa 2006. La nouvelle mouture de Fifa, qui voit enfin son équipe de développement renouvelée, sort un mois avant son grand rival : PES 5. Mais le miracle n’a pas eu lieu, Fifa 2006 déçoit et tous les fans de foot sur PC attendent désormais le messie : PES 5.

Pro Evolution Soccer – loved by most for being quite obviously the best football game on the market, but hated by some for being one of the most frustrating games you’ll ever play in your life. FIFA is often criticised for its ease and simplicity, these are two things you quite definitely can not say about PES. However; sometimes, in the frequent moments of rage when your star striker yet again trips over his own feet the moment you press the shoot button, it can be hard to not think that the supposed challenge provided by PES is more about luck than skill.
