Adventure's Planet (Dec 02, 2010)

If you enjoy light-hearted humor with a bit of a brain twist thrown in every now and then, by all means give Puzzle Bots a try. You’re sure to get a few laughs out of the robot’s various interactions and the puzzling gameplay will satisfy anyone.

Despite its linear style and short length, Puzzle Bots is virtually guaranteed to bring smiles to even an adult’s face, and it’s perfectly suited for children.

Thunderbolt Games (Oct 10, 2010)
Though many of us adults will only play it once due to its easy-to-remember solutions, silly demeanor and short lifespan, the kids will definitely want to replay this game over and over, so it can be recommended for people of all ages. If you’re looking for that quick old school puzzle fix, have a thing for robots made for mayhem, or have an annoying little cousin coming to visit that you want to keep out of your face for the entire weekend, then look no further than Puzzle Bots.

Adventure Gamers (May 14, 2010)
Even with its short duration, however, Puzzle Bots is a welcome addition to the genre, as it’s an enjoyable game with unique and interesting gameplay, and loaded with plenty of cartoony charm. The puzzles could have been more challenging, particularly with a hint system always available, and the story conclusion seems to come out of nowhere like a Scooby-Doo mystery, but the experience is certainly fun while it lasts, and will surely leave you hoping for more bot adventures to come. It’s available only at the Wadjet Eye website, where there’s even a demo available to check out for yourself. Just a little sample should do, because in Puzzle Bots, smaller is definitely better.

Puzzle Bots is both light-hearted and challenging and features one of the rarest of videogame characteristics: a great sense of humor. It's the kind of game that will have you smiling almost the entire time you're playing. The story is silly but well written, and the puzzles are challenging and only occasionally frustrating. It's hard to ask for much more from an adventure game, except, maybe, for a little robot of your own.

Adventure-Treff (May 16, 2010)

Just Adventure (Mar 22, 2011)
Puzzle Bots is a delightful puzzle-centric game tied together with a mildly interesting story line. The style harkens back to the Saturday morning cartoons of yesteryear. There is no attempt to be edgy or to push the envelopes of taste or humor. This is a good game for an aunt or grandpa to play with their nephew or granddaughter.

Gamers Daily News (Sep 03, 2010)
Puzzle Bots apparently set out to evoke a "90s DOS family-friendly game" motif, and it succeeds. If you have kids and want a fun way to spend a couple evenings with them (but admittedly just a couple; Puzzle Bots can be completed in just a few hours), this would be a pretty good choice. Its $10 price is fair for what you get, and while it won’t appeal to adult ’core gamers’ playing alone, it definitely hits the mark for its target audience.

Once you slip into the mindset and embrace Puzzle Bots' lo-fi charms, the initial clunkiness dissipates into a cloud of goodwill, and chipping your way through 17 stages of point-and-click puzzling seems like a fine way to occupy an evening.
