Description

Racing Pitch is a freeware top-down racing game entirely controlled by the player's voice. The player needs to use a microphone to mimic the engine sound to get the car going. The game offers 3 characters, each with a different pitch range: Miss O'Pzekt (170-380 Hz), Stemcell-Bill (110-250 Hz) and Kii Lai Lee (145-290 Hz). The voices can be previewed and the player needs to choose a pitch that matches his own voice.

Version 1.0.3 contains 11 track challenges. These consist of races with a single car in 3 laps. The car follows a set track and moves forward when the player hums the engine sound at the right pitch. Going full speed all the time is not possible, players need to lower the pitch or pause before approaching a corner to avoid getting the car off the track. For lap records, a tailpipe award is given.

The other game mode offers 3 party games: Drag Race (accelerate without skidding), Hot-Air Balloon (blow into the microphone to burn fuel) and Pro Drag Race (accelerate without blowing the engine and shift gears with short breaths).
