Ragdoll Matrix
Description
The objective of this game, made with GameMaker, is to dodge bullets, in a style reminiscent of The Matrix and Max Payne with a character and physics similar to Stair and Truck Dismount. The nameless character is controlled using a side-view. As a continuous stream of bullets is shot, you need to control the different body parts to dodge all incoming projectiles. Damage is calculated based on the importance of the different limbs.
As you progress unharmed through the different difficulty levels, new abilities are gained: Defy gravity*: ignore the rules of gravity (given from the beginning)
- Stiff: halt the position of the different body parts
- Move All: advanced control over all limbs
- Sticky Legs: allows your legs to stick on walls
- Sticky Hands: allows your hands to stick on walls
When hit, the game goes into a blurry slow-motion mode and you are unable to use special moves for a short time. Aside from different game modes (normal, practice, crossfire from both sides), there is a two-player mode available where the second player controls the shots with the mouse.
