Description
Ragnarok Online is a massively-multiplayer online role-playing game based on the fantasy manhwa comic series
Ragnarök by
Myung-Jin Lee.
The game is set in the Rune-Midgard world of Norse mythology which "Ragnarök" comes from that means "doom of the gods". The game world is in 3D graphics while the characters are drawn in 2D sprites done like a traditional style console RPG.

Trivia
In April 2008 the European subscription prices were decreased:
- 1 month subscription : 7€ instead of 10,90€
- 3 month subscription : 18€ instead of 29,70€
- 6 month subscription : 30€ instead of 53,40€
- 1 year subscription : 60€ instead of 72€, and a starter pack offered.
Fees for Audiotel and SMS messages were also lowered. Existing subscribers were compensated with free days.
