Description

The freeware game Return to Sector 9 is the sequel to Ambush in Sector 9 and offers 9 different game modes based around 2D arcade sci-fi shooting gameplay. Each game mode offers a background story and has different controls, using both the mouse and keyboard, offering the player full movement or the control over a stationary turret. The game types consist of multiple stages with different waves of enemies, finished off with a game boss.

Players can unlock up to 15 different ships and paint jobs, as well as the different game modes. During gameplay, there are both offensive and defensive power-ups, extra lives and a special weapon to clear a large part of the screen. High scores can be submitted to an online database to compare your ranking against the best players in the world.
