Summary
Outstanding performance!
The Good
One day out west... my friend gave me "Revenant" to play, 'cuz he wasn't much of tough games (for him, easy is as "Pang" or "Rick Dangeoug" games, or was that also to hard). Though at first sight I didn't want to play that game, I finally agreed to try it.
Oh, boy! Was that my downfall. I fell in love with it at first note. The music pierced my eyes with such a lovely and calling tense, introducing me to the game with really lovely animation that I couldn't stay coldblooded.
The story then began, and I decided to try it after all, I guess I just couldn't resist. Playing was rather okay to me, and it showed something more than just seek and kill story. It showed a part of adventure, it showed really great character moves, nicely done graphics, day/night shifts during the gameplay. It showed so much, and I was there to absorb it.
Finally, I decided not to play it, and to buy it instead. Now, two weaks later, I wasn't sleeping right for past few days. I guess that was the reason why I neglected adding for MobyGames lately. Hmm, I'm not sure am I to be the Revenant or not, but I sure know that if I keep this track, the game will be over in no time, and I won't be in a mood to play it all over again, but what the heck, this game is first to show some attraction in all those RPG world, and you don't expect me to just sit and watch, but to play as well.
The Bad
The main character talks with to much passion and intense, so that even when he say something rather ordinary is seems like he's talking or yelling with a decent tense.
The Bottom Line
Diablo - crushed
Baldur's Gate - ruined
Planescape Torment - hidden
Nox - still standing
... but the story of the Revenant lives on, and will heat you more than the flames' tails from hell! Act, don't react!
