Description

Reversi Plus is one of a package of games produced by The Code Zone. Games from this package were used, in various combinations, in around twenty different game compilation packages.

Reversi Plus is a single player, strategy game that is played against the computer on an 8 x 8 grid. Each player starts with two pieces placed on the board, the default is to have these pieces diagonally opposite each other but this can be changed in the game configuration menu. On their turn each player places another piece on the board, the only legal moves being those which capture one or more opposing pieces. Pieces are captured when they form a chain, horizontally, vertically or diagonally with an opponents piece at either end. Captured pieces change to the colour of their captor. The winning player is the one ends the game with the most pieces on the board.

The game is entirely mouse controlled. It is played in a window which cannot be re-sized. The game has sound, four levels of difficulty, in-game help screens, and a choice of playing piece, colour and screen background.
