The office of Bob Thompkins, Adrianne's sleazy real estate agent, is decorated with posters of girls from another Sierra adventure game, Leisure Suit Larry 6.

In the bar is a bottle of absinthe. If you check the bottle as the game progresses, you will see it go from full to almost empty before it is removed from the bar altogether. Someone is drinking it.

The opening theme is called Consumite Furore (expend your rage) and was written by Mark Seibert with english text by Roberta Williams. The words are:

Come into this talisman || O Spirit of Darkness || Mighty Asteroth, I command you || And fill this stone with your rage || Fill it with your sulphurous powers|| Expend your angers on it || Those powers I will assume || I command you

The game could have been relased in the later part of 1994 since eveything had been finished. However, Sierra called back some of the cast and crew members for two one sessions of filming. They took filmed for another month, and then took a couple more weeks three months later.

The original title was going to be Scary Tales, but the name was changed as the script was written to become what it is today. There is a directory for temp files that the game installs called SCARY in honor of the early title

Victoria Morsell who plays Adrienne, and David Homb who plays Don, fell for each other and started dating a week after they begain filming together. The picture that sits on the night stand in the characters bedroom found a new home in the couple's living room after the game was finished

The German version was banned in - you guess right - Germany :) Banned on 31.03.98

Due to a strict censorship campaign, Phantasmagoria was banned in Australia.

Adrienne wears the same outfit through 95% of the game. Dosen't she ever change her clothes? Or does she just have a closet full of the same outfit? The world may never know.
