Description
Rune is a 3D action game in which you take the role of Ragnar the Viking, mightiest warrior of a byegone age.
It uses the Unreal Tournament engine which also makes it one of the most beautiful straightforward hack-'n'-slash action games ever made.
There is a full single player game as well as a multiplayer component in case you should get fed up of the AI.

Trivia
The game came with a "Free Nordic Cruise Competition", offering the opportunity to win a four-day cruise break to Norway for two people with Fjord Line by completing and returning the typical tick box question card.
Here's the blurb from the card;
