DescriptionBright Side of the Moon is the sixth part and finale to the first season in the Sam & Max episodic series. It takes the duo to the moon to save humanity from hypnotic enslavement once and for all. Like the previous episode where the characters could travel between two realities to solve puzzles, they can now travel back and forth between the Earth and the moon with the Desoto.
Several characters from the previous game make an appearance, including Agent Superball, the disembodied head of Abe Lincoln, Sybil Pandemik, C.O.P.S., Hugh Bliss, and of course Bosco. Sam and Max need to steal, find a magical talisman, get past an intimidating door, cheat the artificial intelligence of the C.O.P.S. and then prepare for the final showdown.
The gameplay is identical to the previous games in the series. The game is entirely in 3D and the player controls Sam. Sam can interact with the environment through mouse-based actions. He can talk to other characters, examine the environment, pick up items and use them with other objects. The inventory is shown as a cardboard box at the bottom of the screen.
