Description
A murder takes place during a festive gala at the Sherringford Hall mansion. Both Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick, Dr. Watson, are in attendance and immediately rise to the occasion. A mystery is afoot!
In this adventure, play as both Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as each takes turns digging for clues, interrogating suspects and talking to other characters in 19th century England. While Holmes questions the guests and investigates the crime scene, Dr. Watson will get assistance outside the mansion from Wiggins, Mrs. Hudson and others. At the end of each chapter, the player helps them make deductions in the form of a question and answer quiz.
Gameplay is entirely mouse-driven, using a point-and-click interface, and inventory system.

Trivia
The end credits note that the game was based on a novel by Jalil Amr. This doesn't refer to a published novel, but to something along the lines of fanfiction. After e-mailing Frogwares about my wanting to read the novel, I received this message from Frogwares CEO
'Waël AMR, "The author wish not the novel to be public and anyway it’s in French!!!"
