The game had an appearance in the cool action movie "Cradle 2 the Grave" starring Jet Li and DMX. In the movie released in 2003 by Warner Bros. a little daughter Vanessa of main protagonist played by famous rap-singer DMX was very interested in playing this game and even several seconds of her playing were watched. This action has defined the SimCoaster as an interesting game for smart girls with an art in their minds.

Just like it's prequel, this game comes with 2 different titles, one for the US (SimCoaster) and one of the rest of the world (Theme Park INC.)

I still see no decent reason why they might have done this, maybe because the 'sim-' games are more popular in the States than in the rest of the world.
