DescriptionSky Kingdoms is a marble shooter game with a fantasy theme, where the player controls a winged device moving sideways at the bottom of the screen, shooting spheres towards a moving string of multicolored balls to make matches of three or more of the same type, making them disappear. The line of spheres rolls on a twisting track that occupy most of the screen state, going slowly towards an exit hole at the end of the course. If three or more balls enter the exit, the game is over, the player loses a life and has to restart the level. The objective is to make enough matches to fill a meter at the bottom. Coins and jewels fall after some of the matches, and can be collected with the device.
Power-ups appear randomly on the tracks, inside glowing spheres that have to be matched to release them. After showing up on the line, they keep flowing with it until being activated with a ball hit. The blue power freezes the nearby spheres with a coat of ice, making them breakable. The red fiery power destroy adjacent balls in a huge explosion. The white power with an X symbol gives an aiming laser to the shooting device, to improve accuracy. The smoky color bomb paints the balls with its own color. The purple power breaks random spheres with lightning bolts. The green arrow makes the ball line move backwards for a few seconds. The yellow S temporarily stops the spheres. The color remover destroys several balls of its color. They can be upgraded on a separate screen between stages, where the player can buy improvements for each power-up with the coins netted while playing the level.
There are three slots at the bottom interface for special power-ups, received after playing well and making lots of points in a short period of time. They can be clicked to be deployed directly. The multicolor ball can be used as a joker sphere, matching any color. The meteor breaks the first ten balls of the line. The golden cube can be placed on the track to temporarily block the passage of the line.
Some special levels have slight variations of gameplay. In the combo stages, the objective is to make a series of successive matches, using the spheres in a more strategic manner. In the snake stages, the player has to make matches while avoiding the collision of occasional flying objects with the shooting device.
