Description

Souvenir is a first-person adventure game based around exploration. It is set in a dream-like environment with different buildings scattered around in the sky in a disorienting style similar to the work of M. C. Escher. The game world is filled with souvenirs, objects that reference memories or events in the past. These are highlighted through a white beam and the player has to collect them to store them in an inventory. Near each souvenir a line of text appears that explains more of its meaning. Next to regular movement and jumping there is a mechanic that changes the plane of gravity. Clicking on a surface that allows it changes the gravity and allows the player to hop through the sky. When a target is missed the character floats away in the sky and then has to start over from the original position.
