Spellcross is een aardige strategische wargame met een aantal sim-elementen. Ik denk echter dat het turn-based karakter veel aktie uit het spel haalt. Ook snap ik niet waarom je niet de Dark Hordes kan spelen; dat is echt een gemiste kans. Toch heeft dit spel genoeg diepgang en missies om de strategie liefhebbers te kunnen boeien.

Es ist schon ein Kreuz mit manchen Spielen: Hinter ihrer rauhen Schale steckt ein nicht allzu schöner, aber komplexer Kern, gepuffert von einem kalorienhaltigen Features-Wulst. Doch was nutzt mir das ganze Forschungs- und Truppenorganisations-Management von Spellcross, wenn der Unterhaltungswert der taktischen Rundenprügeleien im Mittelmaß-Morast abgluckert?
