Description
Spelling Bee is a single player, timed, mouse controlled game.
The game is played on a hexagonal grid with each cell containing a letter. The player must spell words, three letters or more, using adjacent cells. Each game is played over six rounds using the same grid, to advance to the next round the player must use all the cells in the grid at least once. As the game progresses this becomes much harder as the player cannot re-use the same words.
Points are scored for each word made and bonuses are awarded for advancing to the next round. When it was released it was possible for players to compete with other players by uploading their scores to an on-line Hall of Fame. In 2015 the site which supported this feature is no longer active.
