Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force Expansion Pack

Not really worth it.

The Good
The Expansion Pack (ExP) for Elite force had SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

Unfortuneately Raven did nothing to warrant purchasing this. I thnk if they were available for free downloads, it would hvae been worth it.

But there are plusses to this package. First if you hadn't upgraded Elite Force to 1.2 yet, the ExP does it for you, including the Jeri Ryan (7 of 9) voice over. It has a interesting mod called Virtual Voyager. Basically it allows you to go around the differnt decks of Voyager and do different things.

The Bad
But the downside of this ExP is that there hardly any content.

There's a new "Captain Proton" single player mod that takes about 10 minutes to play through. On Deck 15 of "Virtual Voyager" there's a game called Borg slayer. It's a top down puzzle style game.

You can collect "Elite Force Action Figures" in Virtual Voyager and a few new multiplayer maps.

But that's about it. No real content to speak of. I would think that they could at least do another "episode" like the original, but they didn't.

The Bottom Line
It's really not worth the money. But if you buy it in the "Star Trek Action Pack" (along with Armada and Armada II) you might as well load it up and enjoy the 2-3 hours of content it does provide.

Bottom Line: An expansion pack to me is not just new mods. To me it means more game, more content, and more action. Which the Elite Forec ExP provides none of.
