Choose your Mobile Infantrymen carefully. Each has different stats that improve with experience. Rotate your view from eye-level to bird's eye at your whim to get a better idea of the strategic situation. The main menu perfectly shows the feel of the game: part of the book mixed with a lot of the movie. Outfitting your troops is more than giving them the biggest guns. A wide array of firepower is often best. The bigger they are...well, in case of the mammoth Tanker Bug, the saying doesn't apply. Best to get some distance and feed it some grenades or missiles. Dynamic lighting from fires, weapons, wrecks, even armor spotlights adds immensely to the graphical appeal. Separated troopers are dead troopers. Keep your squad together to mass firepower. I don't wanna touch that
