Trivia

Because the Tribes 1 master servers had been working intermittently, they went down on 14th December 2005, with no news if they would ever come back up. Members of the community have taken it upon themselves to host a new Master Server. ZedRWX is currently running one at alpha.primehosting.us:28000

The demo to the game included 3 levels and quickly hosted an extremely large community, it was active the entire lifespan of the full game, even long after "Tribes 2" came out, 1000´s of fans logged on to the original demo and fought it out in organized clan matches. Rarely have a demo supported so many dedicated fans for such a long time.
