As this compilation is completely dedicated to Sven games, you get literally hundreds of levels to play, which guarantee days of fun.

On top of this, there are literally tons of gimmicks, from a desktop theme to a Making Of, available.

And of course, the true fan get rewarded with the Sven figure inside the special transparent box (if he buys it; I, not being a fan, bought the standard box).

About the games itself:

You play of course Sven Bømwøllen, which is easy made. Just move him with the cursor keys, position him behind a female, and press the spacebar often, to "engage" her. When the enemies (Einicken & Wøtan) approach, just run away.

The game's concept of course is totally unique (you know, the sex-between-sheep game ;)). While it is adult themed, the graphics are drawn in a non-adult comic style, which looks really good. And it is fun to play. And due to the fact, that Sven is well trained, his activities don't get boring, as he know dozen of techniques.

But also the other two main characters (the 'enemies') are well done. There you have Einicken, who basically always sleeps while staying around. And of course his devoted dog, Wøtan, who is even more sluggish. ;) For example, when Einicken orders Wøtan to catch Sven, he begins running, and shortly after, he already sleeps again...

Then there is also the sci-fi aspect of the game. Aren't UFO's supposed to abducting cows? Well, here they abducting sheep. So, while you are playing, at some times, a shadow moves over the screen, and there it comes, the UFO, transferring sheep (or sleeping dogs ;)) with it's tractor beam into the ship. At the later games, you also see the aliens, while they are in the field, or meet a clone of yourself.

The Bad

Well, while it is very good to have a compilation dedicated to Sven only, that is also the major downside. That's simply because those Sven games are no-brainers, normally something you would consider playing in breaks, if at all. In addition, the games don't have a reply value like similar games. Not to talk about that no normal being would play those 250 levels at all. Well, a hardcore Sven fan would surely disagree here. ;)

The second downside of this compilation is the fact, that most (all except the Making Of) gimmicks aren't made for this compilation, but for the individual XXL versions of the first three games. Some more "special" special features would be good, particularly for the fans.

The Bottom Line

So, in the end, there are three situations available:

you don't like Sven games: well, then you are obviously not interested in this compilation ;)
you are new to Sven (like me): this is the perfect introduction for you to the series
you are a fan: you might not be interested in this compilation, as you surely have the individually games already, particularly having more then just Sven 004 XS - and since the "special" special features are thin, paying additional 15 to get the Making Of and the Sven figure, might not be worth the money (of course, fans doing not necessary what others would consider normal ;))

So, for the interested newbie: 10 is the (initial) price for the standard box and your ticket to the world of Sven Bømwøllen.
