uk.playstation.com:
The heroes in a half-shell are back on PlayStation 2, and this time they're all in it together.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: BattleNexus once again captures the spirit of the hit
animated TV show in an action-packed PlayStation adventure. This time, it's possible for
four players to take on the roles of Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello and Raphael
simultaneously - provided you have a Multitap, of course.

Choose your favourite turtle and battle against armies of adversaries and huge boss
enemies over five massive worlds. You'll come across friendly and fiendish faces from the
cartoon in the main Story Mode, which takes plots from the second season of the series
and challenges you to pick a path through them.

Unleash over 30 different attacks on your opponents, including moves that are specific to
each Turtle. You'll even get a chance to pit your ninja skills against your friends in
BattleNexus Mode, which lets you scrap for supremacy in specially-designed combat
    arenas.

With beautiful cel-shaded characters and backdrops that mimic the look of the show, this is the closest you'll get to entering the world of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

    • Simultaneous four-player Turtle action with Multitap

    • Over 50 stages with multiple routes

    • Unlock hidden secrets in the Antique Shop, including the original TMNT arcade game

www.nintendo.com – Nintendo GameCube:
They'd give any rabbit a run for its money.

Join the Turtles on their next console quest.

    Features

    • Four-player coop Story Mode or competitive Battle Nexus Mode
    • Unlock 1989 TMNT arcade game
    • More than 30 different types of attack

As if the Turtles weren't strangers in a strange land on Earth, they get zapped into a whole other world. After a new time- and space-warping device falls into the wrong hands, the Turtles find themselves exiled on an alien planet. Our green heroes and a robot named Fugitoid must defeat the planet's enemies and get back to earth. Could Shredder be behind all of this?

You and up to three friends can play alongside each other in Story Mode, which includes 17 levels that center on the origins of Shredder and the Turtles. Each player selects his Turtle of choice and sets off to give the boot to the Foot soldiers. Not all turtles are created equal. In addition to having his own special martial arts training, each Turtle has special non-combat abilities. Donatello, for example, uses his computer literacy to hack systems and open doors, while Raphael uses his strength to push large crates out of the way.

As you play, you collect special crystals that can improve your characters' attributes. During gameplay, the Turtles come across special antiquities that unlock bonuses, such as characters, artwork and minigames.

If you're taking on the world by yourself, you'll switch between Turtles on the fly by pressing the Z Button. Your cel-shaded super ninja of choice takes center stage and performs whatever task you choose. Because the fixed 3/4-overhead view camera sometimes drifts, the action isn't always centered in the middle of the frame. This is a pretty minor annoyance, though.

The game also features the Battle Nexus Mode and other tournament features. Battle Nexus Mode lets you play competitively against any of your friends brave enough to take you on.

    Bottom Line

Have shell, will battle. The Turtles look to bring a little "pow" to the Nintendo GameCube.
