Description
An expansion made to introduce multiplayer to Unreal II, XMP is not the standard "shoot everything that moves" FPS. XMP is free to download for anyone who owns an Unreal II play disc.
XMP is a class based game, and such you can choose between three different classes: The speedy ranger with the lethal sniper rifle and light armor, the slower but more armored Tech with higher hacking skills or the very slow, but also very heavy armored Gunner.
The main objective of the game is to steal the enemy teams two "artifacts". But, in order to register the enemies artifacts as your own, you must have at least 800 units of energy. Energy is acquired by owning generators scattered throughout the landscape. The number of generators varies from map to map.

eXpanded MultiPlayer was never completely finished, as
Legend Entertainment closed down on 16th January, 2004, prior to completing it. It was still released, also included with a
commercial re-release of the original game.
