I can't find any reference to this, but was the title Uru (pronounced "ooh-roo?") also a dual reference to the new ability to customise avatars (as in U-R-U or "You are you")?

Seems plausible, but I haven't found any developer or reviewer mentioning this was the intent.

So acknowledged, but not specifically the intent? Cyan was going for the "city" meaning, or maybe something else in Myst lore?
