Vindictive Drive

The Good
What I loved about Vindictive Drive was the plot, it takes writing and storytelling in general to a level I don't expect from this kind of game(made in RPG Maker). What this game does great is showing how the main character is, Arris is cold blooded, merciless and cruel, she's not Batman, she's not a fallen hero, she's clearly a villain and doesn't move from that status, a thing most games fail miserably to show, consistency. Everyone seems to like a righteous main character, this writer doesn't. The battle system is interesting, it's old school stealth, which means that if you try to pass through shooting you will die. For both of these reasons it is also not a game for everyone, it's a very adult and cruel game where everyone is a villain and no one wins.

The Bad
The resolution, the sad truth is that for games in this century RPG Maker is a bad engine, also the limited controls and customization. I would like to choose which hotkeys I will use. Also, some of the music was great but some tracks were simply monotone and boring.

The Bottom Line
It is a great game, relatively short, 3 to 4 hours. If you're into this kind of game, I mean if you have the stomach for a dark ride, it's only around 3 dollars, nothing to lose.
